QR codes you can edit later, on a domain you own.
Many QR generators make 'dynamic' codes that point to their own servers, then turn them off when a trial ends. That leaves a dead code on menus, signs, and business cards. KeepQR codes run on your own domain (like qr.yourbusiness.com), so you control them. If you ever cancel, you can export your redirects and keep every printed code working.
Why KeepQR
Editable QR codes on your own domain that never get taken hostage. We're keeping it focused and affordable.
Change the link, keep the print run
Update the menu PDF, the promo page, or the review link whenever you like. The QR codes already on tables, flyers, and vehicles keep working.
You own the codes, not us
Codes use your own subdomain. If you cancel, download a redirect file and keep hosting the links yourself for free. Nothing you printed will go dead.
See what's getting scanned
Get daily scan counts by code, plus device type and city-level location. No cookies and no personal data, with a simple CSV export.
How it works
Three steps from signup to useful.
Connect a subdomain
Add one DNS record (for example qr.yourbusiness.com). We walk you through it for any DNS provider.
Create codes
Name each code, set its destination, and download print-ready PNG and SVG files with your colors and logo.
Edit any time
Change destinations, pause codes, or schedule a switch (for example a happy-hour menu at 4 PM).
Founding members get the best price
KeepQR is in early development. Join the waitlist to help decide what we build first and lock in founding pricing.
Up to 50 editable codes on your own domain, unlimited scans, and export at any time. Founding price is locked in for as long as you stay.
Custom domains are usually an upper-tier feature on other QR platforms. We include it from the start. Nothing is charged by joining the waitlist.
Questions
Have another question? Reply to the email you get after signing up.
What's the difference between static and dynamic QR codes?
A static code has the destination built into the pattern, so it never expires but can't be changed. A dynamic code points to a short link that can be changed later. KeepQR gives you dynamic codes on a short link you own.
What happens if KeepQR shuts down or I cancel?
Your codes point at your own subdomain. Export your redirect list, point the subdomain at any host (we'll provide a free Cloudflare template), and every printed code keeps working.
Do I need my own domain?
Yes. Owning the domain is what keeps your codes safe. If you don't have one, a domain usually costs about the same as a year of KeepQR, and we'll show you how to set it up.
Privacy note
When you join the waitlist we store your email address, your answers to the form, the page that referred you, any campaign (UTM) tags in the link you used, and the time you signed up. We use this only to measure interest in KeepQR and to email you about it. We don't use advertising cookies or trackers on this page. Your data is stored with Cloudflare and is never sold or shared. To have your data deleted, reply to any of our emails or write to the address in our launch email, and we'll remove it.
